Diane Gargiulo, founder and president of Gargiulo + Partners, has more than three decades of experience in financial communications, advising financial-services firms, corporations, and non-profits on marketing, transaction-related and investor communications.

Prior to starting Gargiulo + Partners in 1999, Diane was with J.P. Morgan’s Mergers and Acquisitions team in New York and London. As head of Morgan’s Global Client Communications group, she advised on and oversaw communications relating to a variety of financial transactions: acquisitions, mergers and divestitures of publicly traded and privately held entities; privatizations of state-owned utilities and financial firms in Europe and Latin America; initial public offerings.

Before joining J.P. Morgan, Diane was a marketing specialist in the international banking sector at Manufacturers Hanover.

Diane holds a B.A., summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from Fordham University, and an M.A. from Columbia University.

Gerry Dempsey is a director and senior financial writer at Gargiulo + Partners. Drawing from three decades of communications practice on a global scale, Gerry advises business leaders on the clarity of their discourse and the configuration of their message.

He holds a B.S. in linguistics from Georgetown University and a Ph.D. in linguistics from the CUNY Graduate Center. His uncommon synthesis of academic thought, investment focus and professional depth provides Gargiulo clients with world-class corporate communications and financial marketing expertise.

Dr. Dempsey's work has appeared in World Trade Magazine and Communication World among other professional publications, and he has lectured on global communications topics in the United States, Australia, Canada, Cuba and Thailand. He speaks fluent French, and edits financial materials in Dutch, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish.

Rosemarie Fitzpatrick is a director, senior project manager, and marketing strategist at Gargiulo + Partners, overseeing multifaceted assignments. Prior to joining the firm in 2007, Rosemarie was a Senior Vice President and Director of Client Services for an advertising and design agency. A graduate of the Ogilvy and Mather Management Training Program, she has more than two decades of experience implementing fully integrated marketing campaigns across all media. Her clients have included American Express, AT&T, The Bank of New York, the Direct Marketing Association, DLJDirect (now E*TRADE Securities), the New York City Department of Health, and Oxygen Media.

Rosemarie has been a guest lecturer in marketing at Pace University and Baruch College in New York, and at the Institute of International Education in Stockholm.

A longstanding volunteer with the Mayor’s Alliance for Animals in New York City, Rosemarie is a certified animal caretaker and trains other volunteers.

Rosemarie holds a B.B.A. from Bernard M. Baruch College.

André Gutierrez serves as a strategic brand advisor on selected projects. He has more than 20 years of experience in strategic brand-building and communications. André has led many positioning and naming projects with clients ranging from Telefónica to Zurich Financial Services. He also helped pioneer the field of "audio branding," the strategic use of music and sound as brand-building tools, with clients like Verizon and IBM.

He has advised on several groundbreaking LGBT campaigns, among them Orbitz's LGBT integrated brand marketing initiatives, which included an award-winning television ad, and Pfizer's internal brand communications for LGBT employees. Most recently he has managed digital marketing and branding projects for private and public companies and financial institutions.

Prior to his career in branding, André taught English and American Literature in Athens, Greece. He holds a B.S.F.S from Georgetown University and an M.A. from the Monterey Institute. André speaks fluent Spanish and is conversant in Greek.

Amy Hughlett is a director, writer, and editor at Gargiulo + Partners. She has worked in marketing and communications for 15 years. Amy began her career with Gargiulo + Partners, where she worked for eight years. In subsequent years, she served as an account and project manager at a graphic design firm focusing on data visualization, and as an account executive and supervisor at two advertising agencies within the pharmaceutical sector.

Amy has handled a variety of assignments, including brand positioning, developing and executing strategic marketing plans, overseeing development of digital content and marketing collateral, and writing and editing financial documents. Her clients have included Bloomberg LP, Cornell University, New York City Transit Authority, Macy’s, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Celgene, Genentech, Mylan, and Novartis, as well as several private equity and financial services firms of all sizes.

A classically trained soprano, Amy holds a Bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University and a Master’s degree from Manhattan School of Music.

Cassandra Lenahan, a project manager and marketing specialist at Gargiulo + Partners, has two decades of financial marketing experience.

Prior to joining Gargiulo + Partners, Cassandra was head of Citi Private Bank's U.S. and Canada Marketing Group. There, she led a team of 15 professionals responsible for developing and implementing a range of marketing initiatives, including advertising, client events, sponsorships, collateral development, direct marketing, and press relations. Before Citi, Cassandra was responsible for product and marketing groups at Bank of America's asset management division, Columbia Management Group, and at J.P. Morgan Private Bank. She began her career as a marketing representative in Merrill Lynch's Private Client Group and has Series 7, 63 and 24 licenses.

An active volunteer with the New York Junior League, Cassandra works in a range of programs supporting NYC families in need; these include meal preparation in soup kitchens throughout Manhattan, meal deliveries to homebound New Yorkers, and children’s clothing drives.

Cassandra graduated with honors from the American School in London, holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan, and earned a Grand Diploma in Classic Culinary Arts from the French Culinary Institute.

Richard Mahony, senior director, brings to Gargiulo + Partners more than three decades of experience advising organizations and their leaders on strategic communications. He develops strategies for clients facing critical challenges from competitive pressures, litigation, regulatory actions and shareholder initiatives. Richard has extensive experience preparing communications for strategic transactions, capital-raising programs, IPOs and corporate restructurings, as well as communications to address corporate governance, financial disclosure, risk management, and ESG issues.

Richard began his career as an investment banker at J.P. Morgan and later held senior communications and marketing roles in New York and London, where he served on Morgan’s Operating Committee. He has been a senior executive at leading communications firms and has twice won the annual award for the industry’s top financial communications program.

A dual U.S.-Irish citizen, Richard holds a B.A. from Macalester College, where he was a Truman Scholar, and an M.P.P. from Harvard University.

Constantin Manta is the controller for Gargiulo + Partners. He has 20 years of experience as a CFO/Controller at small businesses such as Real Estate Arts; DMTG, Inc., a direct marketing agency; and AEA Investors, LP.

Constantin holds a B.B.A. from Bernard Baruch College. Born in Romania, he speaks fluent Romanian and English.

Diego Medellin serves as the administrative officer and executive assistant at Gargiulo + Partners. He manages internal operations and administration of client projects.

Diego’s previous experience includes branding and marketing for a luxury-products firm, playwriting, and performance and visual art. He has produced, directed, and appeared in multiple experimental performances, including, Elvis Machine at the Fuse Box Festival in Austin; 23{WOYZECK}23 at the University of Texas, Austin, Lab Theatre; and MOON. at the New Media Festival in New York City.

Diego holds a B.S. in Radio, Television, and Film, and a B.A. in Theatre from the University of Texas at Austin. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
